Tantita Donates State of- the-Art Divisional Police Station to Enhance Security

Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited (TSSNL) has commissioned a state-of-the-art Divisional Police Station in Ugborikoko, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, reaffirming its commitment to national security and community development.

The commissioning ceremony, held amidst celebration by residents and security stakeholders, marked the official handover of the modern Ugborikoko Police Division Headquarters, fully constructed and furnished by Tantita.

While the commissioning of the station has been widely praised as a “positive step,” questions remain about whether such infrastructural improvements alone will address the systemic issues plaguing the Nigeria Police Force.

For years, residents of Delta State have voiced concerns regarding police brutality, corruption, and a lack of accountability – problems seemingly untouched by the new building.

“This station is aesthetically pleasing and demonstrates intent,” said local activist, Emeka Okoro, “But aesthetics don’t deter misconduct. We need to see tangible changes in training, oversight, and a commitment to upholding the rights of citizens.”

The state government has confirmed that the station will serve as a model for future developments across Delta State, with plans underway to upgrade existing facilities. However, details regarding increased funding for personnel training and independent investigations into police conduct remain scarce.
