Fubara Sues for Patience, Peace Amidst Ongoing Crisis

Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has urged residents to remain patient and peaceful amidst the ongoing crisis in the state.
In a message to the people, the Governor acknowledged that the situation may be causing feelings of depression and uncertainty, but emphasized the importance of giving glory to God and staying strong.
Governor Fubara reiterated his vision for a society where no one is oppressed, and assured the people that his administration is committed to achieving this goal.
He appealed to the residents to resist any form of provocation, warning that those behind the crisis were seeking to destroy the state and deny its people their means of livelihood.
“We will not allow it. We will continue to operate in a peaceful manner, respecting every constituent authority, to ensure that Rivers State remains the envy of every other state in Nigeria,” he charged.
The Governor’s message comes at a time when the state is experiencing heightened tensions and uncertainty. However, he remains optimistic that the people will emerge stronger from the crisis, and that the state will continue to thrive.
