Ondo Monarch Urges Aiyedatiwa to Fast-Track Development in Oke Ada

The monarch of Oke Ada Community in Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Mofolorunso Arasanyin, has appealed to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to intensify developmental efforts in the town.

Oba Arasanyin made the call on Saturday during the celebration of his first coronation anniversary, where he reflected on the progress of the community and highlighted areas that still require urgent government attention.

The royal father commended the state government and other stakeholders for their interventions so far but stressed that Oke Ada remained in dire need of infrastructural projects to uplift the living standard of residents.

“We need development in this community. Though our government is trying its best, and our minister is also trying his best for us, we still need more developmental projects.

We are therefore appealing to the government, corporate organisations as well as our sons and daughters at home and abroad to assist the community in terms of infrastructural development,” he said.

Oba Arasanyin also urged indigenes of Oke Ada in the diaspora to complement government efforts by contributing meaningfully to the growth of the town.

Highlighting his achievements in the past year on the throne, the monarch noted that he had facilitated scholarships for indigent students, attracted additional medical personnel to the community, and established an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) centre aimed at empowering youths with digital skills.

He reaffirmed his commitment to working with government and development partners to ensure Oke Ada attains greater heights in education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
