No Governor Will Oppose Tinubu Over Inclusive National Support, Says Governor Sani

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as unprecedented support to state governments across the country, stressing that the president’s assistance is extended to all governors regardless of political affiliation. Speaking during an interactive session, Governor Sani emphasized that the backing being received from the federal government under Tinubu’s leadership has not been driven by partisan loyalty but by a shared commitment to national development. According to him, President Tinubu has maintained an inclusive approach that embraces governors from all political parties. “We’re getting a lot of support from President Tinubu,” the governor said. “And this support is not because we are APC governors. The support cuts across all governors, irrespective of party affiliation.” Sani noted that this sense of national unity and equity in treatment has allowed governors to concentrate more on governance and service delivery in their respective states. He credited Tinubu’s leadership style with fostering greater cooperation between the federal and state governments. “That is why today, I’m not sure if there is any governor in Nigeria who would go against the president,” he added. His comments come at a time of heightened efforts by the federal government to stabilize the economy and improve infrastructure, with many state governments receiving critical support to implement key projects. Governor Sani’s remarks highlight growing acknowledgment of Tinubu’s efforts to govern with a national rather than partisan lens.
