Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have arrested a 23-year-old suspect in connection with the alleged theft of a motorcycle in Ondo State.

The suspect was apprehended following an investigation into the disappearance of the motorcycle, which was reported stolen by its owner.

NSCDC officials said preliminary findings linked the suspect to the crime, leading to his arrest and subsequent interrogation.

According to the command, the motorcycle was recovered during the operation, while efforts are ongoing to determine whether other individuals were involved in the incident.

The agency noted that investigations are continuing and that the suspect will be charged to court upon completion of the process.

NSCDC authorities reaffirmed their commitment to tackling criminal activities and protecting lives and property across the state.

They also urged residents to remain vigilant and provide timely information that could assist security agencies in preventing crime and apprehending offenders.
