Military Intercepts Suspected ISWAP/Boko Haram Logistic Supplier in Borno State
The Nigerian military has intercepted a suspected ISWAP and Boko Haram collaborator along the Jakana–Mulam axis in Borno State.
The suspect was apprehended while transporting essential food supplies, including spaghetti, digestive biscuits, sugar, torchlights, and cash, utilizing a bicycle for transit.
This arrest highlights a critical focus of the ongoing counter-insurgency operations: dismantling the local logistical networks that sustain terrorist factions.
Just days prior, troops blocked another courier carrying illicit drugs, cannabis, and alcohol intended for insurgent enclaves in the state.
By targeting these civilian enablers and cutting off essential provisions, the military aims to starve the insurgents of resources, compounding the pressure from active frontline offensives and severely restricting their capacity to operate.
