Tinubu Extols Wike at Road Inauguration, Says ‘He Doesn’t Sleep Until the Job Is Done’

President Bola Tinubu has poured accolades on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, describing him as a relentless and exceptional administrator who “does not sleep until the job is done.”

The President’s high praise was delivered during the official commissioning of the newly constructed Collector Road C01 and its accompanying bridge, situated within the Institution and Research District of the FCT.

Speaking at the ceremony, where he was represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Tinubu emphasized that the aggressive structural transformation taking place across Abuja serves as a direct blueprint for the holistic developmental agenda his administration is replicating throughout the entire federation.

Details of the event were made public in an official statement issued by Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), titled “President Tinubu: Abuja’s Transformation Mirrors Nigeria’s Development.”

Lauding Wike’s legendary work ethic and unwavering project delivery track record, President Tinubu remarked:

“He has proven once again that when he is given a job, he does not sleep until it is done.”

The Commander-in-Chief further maintained that infrastructure stands as the ultimate catalyst for robust economic wealth, asserting that the era of abandoned public projects and broken promises in governance is completely over under his watch. Emphasizing the economic ripple effects of the new FCT infrastructure, Tinubu noted:

“When you build roads, you open up districts. When you open up districts, you invite investment. And when investment comes, Nigeria grows.”

Tinubu concluded by re-affirming his administration’s determination to consistently fund critical infrastructure across major cities, secondary satellite towns, and agrarian communities, insisting that every single citizen in the country deserves equal access to the true dividends of good governance. m
