The record attempt is taking place at the Oto-Awori Local Council Development Area in Ijanikin, Lagos. It is being closely monitored by Guinness World Record officials. Damilola, a graduate of the Lagos State University of Education, has been cutting hair non-stop while remaining focused on his goal.

Damilola explained that his love for hairdressing started in 2006. He has taught the skill in several schools and believes that talent and hard work can create wealth and opportunities. His passion for making people look good keeps him going during this tough challenge.
This impressive effort serves as an inspiration to many young Nigerians. It shows how dedication to a skill can bring recognition on a global stage. As the marathon continues, many hope Damilola will successfully break the record and encourage others to pursue their dreams with similar commitment.
