BAT-IG Mourns APC South-West Zonal Woman Leader, Yetunde Shakirat Adesanya

It is with great sadness that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) has received the sorrowful and profound news of the passing of the APC South-West Zonal Woman Leader, Yetunde Shakirat Adesanya.

Her sudden demise is a painful loss not only to the All Progressives Congress but also to the countless women, party faithful, and communities whose lives she touched through her commitment, service and leadership.

Hon. (Chief) Mrs. Adesanya was a passionate advocate for women’s inclusion and empowerment, a loyal party stalwart, and a dependable ally for progress within the South-West region and beyond. Throughout her years of service, she demonstrated uncommon dedication to the growth of the party and remained steadfast in her support for policies and initiatives that strengthened democratic participation.

While her passing leaves a gaping void, her legacy of service, courage and commitment to the advancement of women in politics will continue to inspire generations of leaders and party members.

BAT-IG extends its heartfelt condolences to her immediate family, friends, political associates, the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, and all those grieving this irreparable loss. We pray that Almighty God grants her loved ones the strength and comfort to bear this loss and grants her soul eternal rest.

We also urge members of our great party and the people of Kosofe to remain united, peaceful, and supportive of one another during this difficult period.

Moments such as this remind us of the importance of solidarity, compassion and shared humanity.

Though she is no longer with us, her contributions to the party and her unwavering dedication to public service will forever remain a part of our collective memory.
