ZLP’s Presidential Candidate, Great Ogboruche Pledges to End Insecurity, Corruption
Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the presidential candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Great Ogboruche, has made a strong promise to tackle Nigeria’s biggest challenges.
He vowed to completely crush insecurity and bring an end to corruption if elected. The candidate made this known during a recent campaign event, where he laid out his vision for a safer and more honest Nigeria.
Speaking to a crowd of supporters, Great Ogboruche said that no Nigerian should live in fear of bandits or kidnappers. He promised to overhaul the country’s security system and give more resources to soldiers and police officers. According to him, his government would not allow any part of Nigeria to remain under the control of criminals. He also pledged to work with neighbouring countries to stop cross-border attacks.
On corruption, Ogboruche was equally firm. He said that public funds would be fully accounted for under his leadership. He promised to strengthen anti-graft agencies and protect them from political interference. He also warned that anyone caught stealing government money would face the full force of the law, no matter how powerful they are. His message was clear: corruption would no longer be tolerated.
The ZLP is a smaller political party compared to the ruling APC and the main opposition PDP. However, Great Ogboruche believes that Nigerians are tired of the old parties and are ready for a fresh alternative. He called on young people and women to join his movement and help take the country in a new direction. Political analysts say his promises may attract voters who are frustrated with the current situation.
Whether Great Ogboruche can win the 2027 election remains to be seen. But his strong words on insecurity and corruption have already started conversations across the country. For many Nigerians who are tired of daily struggles, any leader who speaks boldly about change is worth listening to. The coming months will show if his campaign can turn promises into real support at the polls.
