President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Publisher of BusinessDay newspaper, Frank Aigbogun, on his 70th birthday, describing him as an accomplished journalist and media entrepreneur whose contributions have strengthened business journalism in Nigeria.

Aigbogun is scheduled to celebrate his 70th birthday on November 1, 2026.

In his congratulatory message issued on Saturday, October 31, Tinubu commended the veteran journalist for his contributions to economic reporting, public discourse and the development of Nigeria’s media industry.

The President acknowledged Aigbogun’s commitment to responsible journalism, noting that BusinessDay has provided a platform for insightful discussions on economic policies, investment opportunities and developments shaping the country’s business environment.

Tinubu also praised the newspaper publisher for strengthening relationships between the media, private sector, policymakers and the investing public through credible business reporting.

He further noted that experienced media professionals such as Aigbogun remain important to Nigeria’s institutional development, particularly as the country navigates economic reforms.

While wishing him well on the milestone, the President prayed for his continued good health, renewed strength and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
