The Nigerian Navy has declared Joseph Edsemi Boson wanted over alleged involvement in crude oil theft and extortion.

A notice issued by the Naval Headquarters in Abuja confirmed the development.

Boson is an indigene of Edegbene in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State. His last known address is around Leadwort Hotel, Obirikwere, off Airport Road, near the Obirikwere area of Port Harcourt in Rivers State.

The notice was signed by the Director of Naval Information, Navy Captain Abiodun Folorunsho. The Navy urged members of the public with useful information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest Nigerian Navy unit, police station or any other security agency.

A contact number, 08064470441, has been provided for anyone who can assist in locating the suspect. The Navy said such information would help ongoing efforts to track him down.

The declaration forms part of the Navy’s continued efforts to tackle crude oil theft and related criminal activities in the Niger Delta region.
