Nigerian disc jockey and entrepreneur, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about a growing longing to step away from social media and settle into a simpler life far from the public eye.

Cuppy told her followers that there are moments when she considers walking away from her platform entirely. She wrote that sometimes she wants to delete her Twitter account, run away, move to a tiny village in the countryside, get three goats and go into hiding until Jesus returns to pick her up.

In a follow up post, she said she was still thinking about deleting social media, moving to the countryside and buying three goats, describing it as nothing major.

The posts struck a familiar chord for fans who have watched Cuppy use her platform over the years as a window into her personal life. Beyond her music and DJ career, she has often spoken candidly about her relationships, her faith, career setbacks and the pressures that come with being constantly in the public eye.
