Troops of Sector 6, Operation ENDURING PEACE, in collaboration with the Vigilance Network Group, have arrested three suspected drug peddlers during a raid in Gyel Community, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The suspects were arrested at about 10:10 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, following intelligence on the activities of suspected drug dealers operating in the community.

During the operation, the troops raided a suspected hideout and arrested the three suspects.

They also recovered a large quantity of substances suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs, alongside ₦7,400 in cash.

The suspects and recovered exhibits have been taken into custody for further investigation and necessary action.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts by security agencies to disrupt criminal activities and prevent criminal elements from using communities across Plateau State as safe havens.
