BAT Ideological Group Celebrates Seun Adato’s Emergence as APC Deputy Governorship Candidate

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) has congratulated one of its own, Hon. Seun David Ogunniyi Adato, on his emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy Governorship Candidate for Kwara State in the 2027 election.

Hon. Adato, a member of the BAT-IG Board and a key coordinator of the Group in Kwara State, has distinguished himself through his commitment, loyalty and dedication to the APC and its ideals.

The National Convener of BAT-IG, Comrade Bamidele Atoyebi, described Adato’s emergence as a significant recognition of his capacity, commitment and unwavering belief in the unity of the party.

Atoyebi recalled Adato’s consistent advocacy for reconciliation and unity among party members, particularly during periods of internal disagreement, noting that he has always upheld the principle that “a house divided against itself cannot stand.”

The Group also commended the Kwara State APC and its stakeholders for finding Adato worthy of the responsibility, describing his emergence as another important step towards strengthening inclusion, fairness and unity in Kwara State.

“Hon. Adato is one of those who have contributed to building the BAT Ideological Group from the ground up. His vision, consistency and commitment have never been in doubt. We are confident that he will bring these qualities to his new responsibility,” Atoyebi said.

BAT-IG noted that the emergence of Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi, a candidate from Kwara North, as the APC governorship candidate, alongside Hon. Adato from Offa, represents a significant development in the state’s political inclusion and power-sharing conversation.

The Group congratulated Hon. Adato and wished him success as he joins the APC ticket for the 2027 governorship election, reaffirming its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote unity, fairness, equity and justice in Kwara State.
