Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has warned members of the All Progressives Congress against engaging in anti-party activities ahead of the 2027 general elections. He issued the caution on Thursday during the inauguration of the Ondo State chapter of the City Boy Movement, a group supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.

Represented by the state APC Chairman, Babatunde Kolawole, the governor said his administration would not tolerate any actions that could undermine the party’s chances in the coming polls.

He stressed a zero-tolerance stance on anti-party conduct under any guise.

Aiyedatiwa urged members of the support group to take their mobilisation efforts to the grassroots across the state’s 18 local government areas. He called on APC members to actively canvass support for President Tinubu and the party’s candidates in the presidential, National Assembly and State House of Assembly elections.

The governor also praised the leadership of the City Boy Movement, particularly its Grand Patron, Seyi Tinubu, for creating a platform that encourages young people to participate in politics. He encouraged the group to remain focused on its mandate.

The state director of the movement, Oluwafemi Ayejusunle, said the immediate priority was to strengthen the structure from the state level down to the wards and units. He noted that the group would concentrate its efforts on youths, women, markets, campuses and communities while promoting the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
