Nollywood actress, Sunshine Rosman has completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Lagos after a journey of seven years, and she is already looking beyond Nigeria for her next challenge, saying she hopes to lead an Indian or a Spanish film in future.

Rosman took part in her sign out ceremony on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, sharing photos from the occasion on Instagram as she reflected on the difficulties of balancing a demanding acting career with university life.

She described the years as challenging but said she and those around her pulled through together, thanking God and the friends who supported her along the way.

The actress, who is Nigerian Canadian with a mother from Imo State and a late father of Italian descent from Canada, said her mixed heritage gives her the flexibility to convincingly portray characters from different backgrounds. Speaking in an earlier interview with comedian and filmmaker AY Makun, she explained that she has come to see how naturally she could play an Indian or a Spanish character given her features, adding that taking on an Indian lead role would likely require about a year of learning the language first.

Rosman entered Nollywood in 2015 with a debut role in the family comedy Lunch Time Heroes, appearing alongside established names such as Dakore Egbuson Akande and Omoni Oboli. She has since built a body of work spanning titles including To Kill a Monkey, Son of the Soil, When Love Strikes, Our Best Friend’s Wedding, Pretty Thief and The Creek, alongside a growing presence as a digital content creator with a large following on Instagram and her own YouTube channel.

Her graduation has drawn a wave of congratulatory messages from colleagues, friends and fans, many of whom have described her ability to juggle school and a demanding entertainment career as inspiring.
