The All Progressives Congress has announced the reopening of its nationwide membership electronic registration exercise. 

The process will begin on Monday, 31 August 2026, as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

In a press statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, the party invited all stakeholders, supporters and members both existing and new to take part. The exercise will be conducted in every ward across the country.

Existing members are expected to validate their membership, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and join the party. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).

The APC said the electronic registration is designed to digitise its membership register, strengthen the integrity of the party’s records and improve organisation at the grassroots. The party described the exercise as an important step in building a more robust and inclusive structure ahead of the next electoral cycle.
