Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have arrested four suspected Boko Haram and ISWAP collaborators during intelligence-led operations in Yobe and Borno States, further dismantling terrorist logistics and support networks in the Northeast.

Following credible intelligence on August 3, 2026, troops from the 159 Battalion, Sector 2, executed a cordon-and-search operation in Geidam Town, Yobe State. The raid resulted in the arrest of two individuals suspected of supplying illicit drugs and essential items to insurgents operating in the general area.

During the Geidam operation, security forces recovered a large quantity of suspected cannabis sativa (Indian hemp), Pregabalin capsules, Piscof syrup, various mobile devices, power banks, cutting instruments, torchlights, lighters, identity cards, bank cards, and ₦14,530 in cash.

In a separate coordinated action on the same afternoon, Sector 3 Garrison troops and the 242 Reconnaissance Battalion targeted active supply corridors in Monguno Town, Borno State. The operation led to the capture of two suspected ISWAP logistics operatives.

Preliminary interrogations revealed that the suspects were transporting food and provisions to ISWAP fighters stationed around Kwatan Dowoshi Village in the Kukawa Local Government Area. Confiscated items included 11 cartons and 192 sachets of assorted biscuits, dairy products, sugar, soap, headlamps, processed garri, herbal medicines, tactical items, basic feature phones, and ₦6,600.

The arrests mark a continued effort by the Joint Task Force to sever supply chains and weaken insurgent capabilities across the region.

Suspects and recovered items remain in custody for further investigation and legal processing.
