176 Kwara Abductees Regain Freedom
A total of 176 individuals who were previously abducted by armed bandits in Kwara State have successfully regained their freedom.
The victims who were kidnapped in earlier incidents across vulnerable communities in the state were released following coordinated efforts involving security agencies, local intelligence operations, and community stakeholders.
Security personnel have facilitated the rescue, ensured medical evaluation for the freed individuals, and initiated efforts to reunite them safely with their respective families.
Local authorities and security officials reaffirmed their commitment to intensifying counter-banditry operations, securing forest reserves, and tracking down the perpetrators to prevent further kidnappings across the state.
