During a targeted security operation in the Kasahola Village area of Bukuyum Local Government, Zamfara State, military personnel under Operation FANSAN YAMMA successfully freed two individuals who had been held captive.

Deploying from the Forward Operating Base in Gwashi, troops executed the morning rescue operation following intelligence reports. The rescued individuals were safely taken into military custody to undergo initial debriefing procedures prior to being reunited with their families.

Military officials confirmed that this intervention is part of an ongoing, intelligence-driven campaign across the North-West aimed at dismantling criminal hideouts, curbing bandit activity, and securing local communities.
