Kwara Governor Rewards 2 Top Law School Graduates with ₦5m Each, Overseas Scholarships
Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has hosted and honored two Kwara indigenes who emerged as the overall best and second-best graduating students at the 2026 Nigerian Law School graduation ceremony in Abuja, rewarding them with ₦5 million each alongside full government sponsorship for their postgraduate studies abroad.
The beneficiaries, who both completed their undergraduate legal education at the University of Ilorin before attending the Nigerian Law School, are Israel Adekunle Adeniyi from Offa, who emerged as the overall best graduating student, and Oluwatomisin Promise Daniel from Idofin Igbana in Oke Ero Local Government Area, who finished as the second-best overall graduating student.
Speaking during a reception organized for the scholars in Ilorin, Governor AbdulRazaq stated that the cash gifts and scholarship packages were presented to celebrate exceptional academic brilliance and dedication, while inspiring other young people across the state to pursue excellence and bring pride to their families and Kwara State.
