Gombe APC Ward Leadership Collapses as Key Officials Resign, Defect to PDP
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Pantami Ward, Gombe Local Government Area of Gombe State, has suffered a political setback following the formal resignation and defection of its Ward Chairman, Bala Ngalda, alongside the Ward Legal Adviser, Babangida Gololo.
In separate resignation letters addressed to the Ward Secretary, both party executives announced their immediate exit from the APC and their subsequent transition to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Ngalda noted that his departure came after extensive consultations with his family and political associates, expressing appreciation to the party at all levels as well as the Gombe State Government for the opportunity to serve during his tenure.
The development adds to the ongoing political realignments, defections, and restructuring across Gombe State as political figures reposition ahead of future electoral contests.
