Iran Military Cautions Washington Against Regional Escalation
Iranian Army Spokesman, Mohammad Akraminia has warned that the ongoing conflict in the Middle East will geographically widen across the region if the United States continues military strikes against the Islamic Republic.
Speaking on Iranian state television, Akraminia asserted that Washington’s persistent involvement and potential air strikes will inevitably draw additional regional territories directly into the theater of war.
Reiterating Tehran’s operational readiness, Akraminia stated, “I believe that if the Americans once again fall for the Zionists’ deception, or move in line with them, and insist on continuing the war, particularly through air strikes, geographically this will expand further.”
The military official noted that hostilities have already impacted critical maritime routes such as the Bab al-Mandab Strait, adding that the scope of potential counter-operations covers key regional transit points and foreign installations.
Akraminia concluded that military leadership remains fully prepared for all potential operational scenarios, predicting that Washington will face growing strategic difficulties if it pursues further military intervention.
