Popular Nigerian TikTok personalities Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, and his fiancée, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known as Jarvis, have finally set August 1, 2026, as the date for their white wedding, closing out months of speculation that has followed the couple’s very public relationship. 

The announcement was made through a dramatic, thriller-style video shared on their verified Instagram pages, accompanied by the message, “The wait is almost over. Save the date as we begin forever together. We celebrate this special day with you.” The post has since drawn an outpouring of congratulatory reactions from fans, fellow content creators, and celebrities across social media.

The wedding, which the couple has branded “#Jarpel,” comes after a string of highly publicised milestones in their relationship. Peller proposed to Jarvis in a beachside ceremony at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, on June 3, 2026, a moment that quickly went viral before he doubled down on the celebration by displaying the proposal video on a large digital billboard in Lagos. Weeks later, on June 21, Peller travelled to Jarvis’s family home in Edo State for their traditional introduction ceremony, where both families concluded the bride price rites, another step widely covered by fans tracking the couple’s journey toward marriage.

Alongside the wedding date, the pair unveiled their official Aso Ebi package, which has generated considerable buzz and debate online. The fabric has been priced in tiers, with four yards going for N350,000, eight yards for N700,000, and the full twelve-yard package fixed at N1 million, described by the couple as covering both the traditional and white wedding outfits. Peller has claimed that several top celebrities have already purchased their packages, with many more expressing interest in attending what fans expect to be one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year in Nigeria.

The build-up has not been without its share of online commentary, with some critics questioning the couple’s readiness for marriage given their ages, Peller having recently turned 21 in May and Jarvis believed to be around 23. Jarvis has pushed back against the “kids” label, arguing that there is no fixed formula for a successful marriage and urging critics to instead offer prayers and goodwill.

Despite the chatter, the couple appears fully focused on the countdown, with fans and fellow creators, including football star Victor Osimhen, already sending congratulations and, in Osimhen’s case, jokingly asking for the account details to purchase his own Aso Ebi package.
