Take-It-Back Movement Protests Oyo Abductions, Demands Pupils’ Release

The Take-It-Back movement has staged a protest in Oyo State over the recent abduction of school pupils.

The group marched through the streets to demand the immediate and safe release of the kidnapped children. Chanting slogans, the protesters called on security agencies to act swiftly before any harm comes to the pupils.

The abductions happened days ago in Oyo State, sending shockwaves through the community. Gunmen reportedly stormed a school and took several young pupils away to an unknown location.

Since then, parents have been living in fear and agony, waiting for any news about their children. The Take-It-Back movement says the government has not done enough to rescue them.

During the protest, members of the group held up signs with messages like “Bring Back Our Children” and “End Insecurity Now.” They marched to government buildings and handed over a letter of demands to local authorities.

The protesters argued that schools should be safe zones, not targets for criminals. They also questioned why kidnappers are still operating freely in the region.

The Take-It-Back movement is known for speaking out against insecurity and government failures. They have organized similar protests in the past following other abduction cases. This time, they are putting extra pressure on the Oyo State Government and the police to deliver results.

The group has vowed to keep protesting every day until the pupils are returned safely.

As of now, security forces say they are combing forests and following leads to find the children. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the abductions. The families of the missing pupils are pleading with the public for any helpful information. For the Take-It-Back movement and many worried Nigerians, the message is clear: the pupils must come home alive, and they must come home now.
