Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Demands Action Against Insecurity
The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has broken its silence after completing three days of national fasting and prayer.
The group expressed deep concern over the rising cases of insecurity and attacks on Christians across the country. They are calling on the government to take urgent steps to protect lives and bring peace back to affected communities.
Leaders of the PFN stated that the continuous killings, kidnappings, and destruction of churches have gone on for too long. They believe prayers alone are not enough and want the authorities to show real commitment in solving these problems.
The fellowship demanded proper accountability from those in power to stop the violence.
Many Christians in Nigeria have faced difficult times due to frequent attacks by unknown gunmen and bandits. The PFN highlighted how these incidents have created fear among worshippers and disrupted normal religious activities in several states. They urged the government not to treat these matters lightly.
The group promised to continue praying while pushing for concrete actions. They appealed to all Pentecostal churches to stay united and support efforts aimed at bringing lasting solutions. This strong position is expected to encourage other religious bodies to speak up on national issues.
As insecurity remains a major challenge, the PFN’s message serves as a wake-up call for better protection of citizens. Many Nigerians hope the government will respond positively and work towards making the country safer for everyone, regardless of their faith.
This development shows the important role religious leaders can play in addressing societal problems.
