BAT-IG Congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Re-emerging APC Presidential Candidate in Nationwide Primaries 

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ideological Group (BAT-IG) heartily congratulates His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on his resounding and overwhelming victory in the recently concluded primary elections across the federation.

This remarkable triumph, recorded across all the 8,809 wards in Nigeria, is a clear testament of the unwavering confidence Nigerians repose in his leadership, vision, courage and reform-driven administration.

The massive turnout of party faithful and supporters nationwide further confirms that Nigerians remain steadfast in their belief that there is no vacancy in Aso Rock come 2027.

According to the APC Presidential Primary Election final results, President Tinubu polled 10.9 million votes, while Stanley Osifo secured 16,503 votes, further underscoring the overwhelming mandate and confidence reposed in the President by party members and supporters across the country.

The unalloyed support shown during the primary elections is not merely political symbolism; but a strong endorsement of the President’s bold economic reforms and transformative governance agenda. Despite the temporary pains associated with restructuring and rebuilding a long-battered economy, Nigerians are beginning to witness the positive impact of the administration’s policies. The nation is gradually regaining economic stability, attracting international respect and reclaiming its pride of place among the comity of nations.

Under President Tinubu’s leadership, Nigeria’s economy is showing signs of resilience and renewed strength. The stability of the naira, improvements in the energy sector, and Nigeria’s growing relevance in global economic conversations are products of courageous leadership and strategic vision. These achievements were not attained through populism or emotional politics but through deliberate and difficult decisions made in the interest of national progress.

President Tinubu has also succeeded in winning the confidence of many Nigerians who may not have supported him during the 2023 general elections. Today, many citizens can clearly see the difference between practical leadership and empty political rhetoric. The administration’s performance has exposed the limitations of opposition figures who once claimed to possess superior economic solutions and agenda.

Interestingly, several countries often cited by opposition elements as models Nigeria should emulate are presently battling severe economic crises and instability. From Argentina to Egypt to Bangladesh, Senegal and Burkina Faso, many economies are struggling under the weight of unsustainable policies and weak governance structures stemming from lack of sustainable economic and social visions unlike Nigeria.

The global economic system rewards productivity, fiscal discipline and economic realism. Nations that endlessly subsidise consumption without sustainable production often face economic collapse and international irrelevance.

Nigeria’s renewed global respect today stems from the courageous steps taken by President Tinubu to reposition the nation’s economy on a path of long-term sustainability and growth.

BAT-IG therefore commends Nigerians, party members, and grassroots supporters across the country for reaffirming their confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
