Ogun Monarch Hails Tinubu’s Commitment to National Growth, Inclusive Development

A traditional ruler in Ogun State, the Olota of Ota, Awori Kingdom, Oba Adeyemi Obalanlege has commended President Bola Tinubu for what he described as a strong commitment to national growth and inclusive development across Nigeria.

The monarch gave the commendation while speaking on recent federal government projects executed in Ota, including the establishment of a divisional police headquarters and a primary healthcare centre facilitated through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals.

He said the projects reflect the Federal Government’s renewed focus on grassroots development, particularly in the areas of security and healthcare delivery, which he described as key pillars of national stability.

According to him, the administration’s approach to development demonstrates a deliberate effort to ensure that communities at the local level benefit directly from federal presence and interventions. Oba Obalanlege also praised Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for fostering an enabling environment that continues to attract federal projects and development initiatives to the state.

He noted that the newly commissioned facilities would improve public safety and expand access to healthcare services for residents of Ota and surrounding communities, describing them as important symbols of inclusive governance. The monarch urged residents to support and protect the facilities to ensure they serve their intended purpose of long-term community development.

The remarks come amid ongoing public discussions on the Federal Government’s infrastructure rollout and development priorities, with stakeholders continuing to assess the impact of reforms at both national and grassroots levels.
