Tinubu Departs Abuja for France on Three-Nation Diplomatic Tour
President Bola Tinubu on Monday departed Nigeria for France, commencing a three-nation official visit that will also take him to Kenya and Rwanda as part of efforts to deepen economic partnerships and attract foreign investment.
The presidential aircraft conveying Tinubu took off from the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, marking the start of the diplomatic tour.
The President is expected to hold high-level engagements in France before proceeding to Nairobi, Kenya, where he will participate in the Africa-France Summit co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto.
The trip, which was rescheduled from Saturday, is part of broader efforts by the administration to strengthen bilateral relations and secure investment opportunities for Nigeria.
At the departure ceremony, Tinubu arrived at the airport in a motorcade and was received by senior government officials. He exchanged greetings with dignitaries before boarding a Nigerian Air Force aircraft, as members of the armed forces rendered salutes.
