The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has officially unveiled its pioneering Leadership Academy, a strategic move aimed at enhancing the administrative capacity of subnational leaders across the federation. 

During a high-level meeting held in Abuja, the governors collectively declared their support for the Federal Government’s ongoing reforms in the fiscal, education, and security sectors. This development marks a significant step toward a more synchronized approach to governance between the thirty-six states and the central government as they navigate the country’s current socioeconomic landscape.

The newly established Leadership Academy is designed to serve as a hub for excellence in public administration, providing governors and their cabinet members with the tools necessary for evidence-based policymaking. By focusing on sustainable development and efficient service delivery, the academy aims to bridge the gap between policy design and implementation at the state level.
