The evening began in nightmare fashion for the hosts. Carrying a 2-0 lead from the first leg, Atletico saw their advantage evaporated within 24 minutes. Lamine Yamal ignited the Barcelona belief with a goal in the 4th minute, and the momentum shifted entirely when Ferran Torres doubled the lead midway through the half.
