Apostle Joshua Selman, the founder of Eternity Network International (Koinonia Global), visited the Plateau State Government House on Wednesday to commiserate with the government and people following recent violent attacks in several communities.
During the visit, the cleric donated relief materials and cash worth over N200 million to support the victims. This contribution was intended to provide immediate comfort and aid to families displaced or affected by the tragedy.
The donation consists of a truckload of approximately 3,000 bags of rice and other essential items valued at N100 million. Additionally, Apostle Selman provided a financial support package of N100 million to assist affected households.
The distribution of these relief items will be coordinated through the state government and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). Selman emphasized that while the palliatives cannot replace lost lives, they serve as a demonstration of love and responsibility.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang received the delegation and described the visit as a powerful show of solidarity. He praised Selman as a “prophet with honor in his hometown” and thanked him for his significant impact and local connection.
The governor noted that his administration has extended support to both Christian and Muslim victims to promote unity. He stressed that preserving peace in Plateau is a collective responsibility for all citizens, whether at home or in the diaspora.
Apostle Selman urged the leadership not to lose hope despite the recurring violence, describing Plateau as a land of great potential. He reaffirmed his commitment to standing with the people as a “son of the soil” during these difficult times.
