NDDC Powers Army Brigade Headquarters with Streetlights

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has installed power facilities and solar streetlights at an army brigade headquarters as part of its intervention projects.
NDDC’s Director of Projects, Hon. Victor Antai, told journalists that the projects included three substations, nine concrete electric poles with 500-watt streetlights, and a solar grid system.
Antai explained that the interventions were aimed at improving energy supply and enhancing security within the brigade premises.
“The commission’s interventions in the brigade include three substations, nine concrete electric poles mounted with 500 watts of streetlights, a solar grid and solar streetlights,” Antai said.
On arrival at the brigade headquarters, Lt. General Oluyede inspected a guard of honour and was received by Brigade Commander, Brig. General Obolo, before touring the newly installed facilities.
The NDDC said the project reflects its commitment to supporting military infrastructure and strengthening security in the Niger Delta region.
