APC Appoints Uba Sani to Lead Ekiti Governorship Campaign Council
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna State, as chairman of its Ekiti State Governorship Election Campaign Council ahead of the forthcoming poll.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated April 24, 2026, and signed by the party’s national secretary, Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru. The APC said the decision reflects confidence in Sani’s leadership capacity and political experience.
According to the party, the Kaduna governor’s selection is based on his “distinguished leadership, political experience, and commitment to the success of our party in this critical election.”
The letter, addressed to Sani at the Kaduna State Government House, also invited him to attend the official flag-off rally for the Ekiti State governorship campaign.
The rally is scheduled to hold on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado-Ekiti, with proceedings expected to commence at 11:00 a.m.
The APC is preparing to mobilise support across Ekiti State as campaigns intensify ahead of the governorship election, with the newly constituted council expected to coordinate party activities and strategy.
