Tinubu Celebrates Women Affairs Minister Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim on Birthday
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of Women Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, on the occasion of her birthday, commending her leadership and contributions to national development.
In a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President described Sulaiman-Ibrahim as “a steady hand” at a time when clarity of purpose and institutional discipline are critical to achieving meaningful social outcomes.
Tinubu noted that under her leadership, the Ministry of Women Affairs has strengthened its focus on protection, inclusion, and opportunity, with increased attention on building systems that not only respond to vulnerability but also prevent it.
The President further observed that the minister’s record in public service demonstrates a consistent ability to manage complex responsibilities while leaving behind stronger institutions, clearer direction and measurable progress.
He also commended her capacity to effectively navigate policy development, coordination, and execution, adding that her work aligns closely with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in prioritising women, children, and families in ongoing reforms.
