Katsina Electorates Want Tinubu, Radda Re-elected in 2027
The people and political leadership of Katsina State have officially endorsed the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Dikko Umar Radda ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made public by Nigeria’s Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, during a media briefing in Kankia town following the recently concluded local government elections in the state.
Dangiwa praised both Tinubu and Radda for what he described as “remarkable performance” in their respective offices, noting that their people-centered policies have significantly impacted lives across Katsina and beyond.
“We in Katsina State, and indeed across the northern region, are committed to supporting the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Radda in 2027.
“Their achievements so far speak volumes, and our people are ready to return them to office,” the minister said.
Governor Radda, who has consistently reiterated Katsina’s loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC), affirmed during a recent rally in Ingawa Local Government Area that the state remains firmly aligned with the ruling party.
“Katsina is an APC state and will continue to be an APC state,” he said, expressing confidence that the APC will win decisively in future elections.
Radda’s administration has been credited with major infrastructural and economic strides, including the proposed ₦682.24 billion 2025 budget aimed at improving education, agriculture, and rural development.
Meanwhile, President Tinubu has received widespread commendation from leaders within Katsina for his ongoing efforts to revitalize Nigeria’s economy and strengthen national unity.
As political momentum begins to build toward the 2027 elections, the early and vocal endorsement from a key northern state like Katsina is seen as a significant boost to the re-election campaigns of both Tinubu and Radda.
