Napoli Edge Torino, Juventus Thrash Pisa as Serie A Race Intensifies

Napoli secured a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Torino FC at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, keeping their Serie A title ambitions alive.

Brazilian winger Alisson Santos gave Napoli an early advantage in the seventh minute, cutting in from the left before drilling a low strike into the near corner. Torino attempted to respond quickly, with Nikola Vlasic testing goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, while Rasmus Hojlund missed a headed chance from Matteo Politano’s cross.

Napoli doubled their lead in the second half when Eljif Elmas fired home after Leonardo Spinazzola’s cross was cushioned down by Politano. Torino pulled one back late through Cesare Casadei, who nodded in after a headed assist from Che Adams, but Napoli held on for the win to move into third place, just one point behind AC Milan.

Elsewhere, Como 1907 defeated Cagliari Calcio 2–1 away from home. Martin Baturina opened the scoring in the 14th minute before Sebastiano Esposito equalised for Cagliari shortly after the break. However, Lucas Da Cunha restored Como’s lead in the 76th minute to secure the three points.

At the Gewiss Stadium, Atalanta BC and Udinese Calcio shared the spoils in a 2–2 draw. Udinese took the lead through Thomas Kristensen before Keinan Davis doubled their advantage early in the second half. Atalanta fought back late with a quickfire brace from Gianluca Scamacca, who scored in the 75th and 79th minutes to rescue a point for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Juventus FC ended a four-match winless run in Serie A with a dominant 4–0 victory over Pisa SC at the Allianz Stadium.

After a slow start that saw goalkeeper Mattia Perin deny Rafiu Durosinmi, Juventus broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Andrea Cambiaso headed in a cross from Kenan Yildiz.

The hosts doubled their lead 11 minutes later as Khephren Thuram converted the rebound after Manuel Locatelli struck the post. Yildiz then capped an impressive performance with a superb solo goal in the 75th minute before substitute Jeremie Boga rounded the goalkeeper and scored in stoppage time to complete the rout.

The victory moves Juventus closer to the top-four positions as the Serie A season enters a crucial stage.
