Biodun Oyebanji Hails Wole Olanipekun Over Global Honour

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has congratulated eminent jurist, Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, on his latest global recognition, describing it as a proud moment for Ekiti State and Nigeria.

Olanipekun was recently ranked as a Senior Statesman in Dispute Resolution in the 2026 global rankings released by Chambers and Partners, a highly respected international legal directory that evaluates top lawyers and law firms worldwide.

In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr. Yinka Oyebode, in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday, Governor Oyebanji said the latest recognition had sealed an eternal place of honour for Chief Olanipekun as an international leader of the Bar and a globally recognised jurist.

The governor noted that the honour was a testament to Olanipekun’s decades of distinguished service, outstanding advocacy, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the legal profession.

He described the former President of the Nigerian Bar Association as a shining example of excellence whose contributions have strengthened Nigeria’s jurisprudence and enhanced the country’s reputation in the global legal community.

Oyebanji added that Olanipekun’s global standing reflects the resilience, intellect and professionalism that Ekiti people are known for, urging younger lawyers to draw inspiration from his remarkable career.
