No Party or Person Can Defeat Tinubu in 2027, Declares Atiku’s son
Abba Atiku, son of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress.
He formalised his move by picking up his APC membership card in Yola, Adamawa State where he declared that victory for President Bola Tinubu was immutable in 2027.
During the event, Abba expressed strong confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the President has initiated vital economic and human reforms.
He believes these changes were essential for the nation’s progress and growth.
The defector highlighted that Tinubu’s administration focuses on merit rather than tribal or religious affiliations. He noted that the President’s appointments and decisions reflect a commitment to a unified and prosperous Nigeria.
Abba Atiku made a bold political prediction regarding the next general election, asserting that the current administration’s track record would make it impossible for any opponent to win against the incumbent.
Specifically, he declared: “I want to make it very clear that nobody or any political party can stop President Bola Tinubu from returning to Aso Rock come 2027. Nigerians have seen his good work; he is not a tribalist, he don’t make appointments based on religion or region, but his decisions are purely on merit.”
The APC leadership in Adamawa welcomed him warmly, viewing his defection as a significant boost. They suggested that his move effectively signals the end of major opposition challenges in the region.
Party chieftains echoed Abba’s sentiments, describing other potential 2027 presidential aspirants as “wishful thinkers.” They argued that no other candidate possesses the credentials necessary to challenge the President’s seat.
Interestingly, this move places Abba in a different political camp than his father, who is currently associated with the African Democratic Congress, and his brother Adamu, who remains a ser
ving PDP commissioner.
