Gusau Dismisses Officiating Bias Fears Ahead of Super Eagles’ AFCON Semi-Final Against Morocco

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, has played down concerns over possible biased officiating ahead of the Super Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final clash with host nation Morocco.

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated encounter, Gusau said he is not worried about claims that match officials could favour Morocco because they are playing on home soil. CAF has, however, taken steps to address officiating standards during the tournament, reinforcing scrutiny and accountability for match officials.
