U.S. Gives Nigerian Military Supplies to Strengthen Security Operations

The United States has delivered critical military supplies to Nigeria, in a move aimed at supporting the country’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism, banditry and other security challenges.

The delivery was confirmed by the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), which said the equipment was handed over to Nigerian security authorities in Abuja as part of sustained defence cooperation between both nations. AFRICOM described the gesture as a reflection of the strong security partnership shared by Washington and Abuja.
