Tinubu Felicitates Tambuwal at 60, Hails His Years of Public Service

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent warm felicitations to Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as the former Sokoto State governor marks his 60th birthday.
In a statement released on Saturday, the President acknowledged Tambuwal’s long-standing contributions to Nigeria’s political development, describing him as a seasoned legislator and administrator who has played key roles at both national and state levels.
Tambuwal, who currently represents Sokoto South Senatorial District in the National Assembly on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), previously served as Speaker of the House of Representatives between 2011 and 2015.
He later governed Sokoto State for two consecutive terms from 2015 to 2023.
President Tinubu noted that Tambuwal’s career reflects a sustained commitment to public service and democratic governance, adding that his leadership roles have helped strengthen Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
The President also commended the senator’s dedication to nation-building and his continued engagement in the country’s political process.
Tinubu concluded by wishing Tambuwal good health, long life and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
