BAT Group Celebrates Progress Under Tinubu’s Policies

The BAT Ideological Group has marked 2025 as a year of tangible achievements, championing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda through education, rural development, and social welfare programs.

From expanding access to skills training and loans to addressing long-standing electricity gaps in underserved communities, the group says its initiatives reflect the president’s vision for a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.

The group said it has actively promoted government policies through media campaigns, opinion articles, and radio programs, focusing on initiatives such as subsidized dialysis, the Health Fellowship Program, NELFUND, TIVET, and various loans for lecturers, farmers, and cooperative societies.

In line with Tinubu’s emphasis on education, BAT Ideological Group highlighted efforts to support students and skill acquisition programs. The group has proposed establishing a Bola Ahmed Tinubu Library at the University of Ilorin, which has become an established center for Bola Ahmed Tinubu Politics and Policy, and launching a Media Enthusiasts Fellowship to train youth from all 774 local governments in social media, civic engagement, and patriotism.

The group also supported rural electrification projects, addressing communities historically deprived of electricity. The Rigasa project, in collaboration with Niger Delta Power Holding Company, is slated for commissioning in March 2026, with other initiatives underway in Ibafo and selected communities.

Additionally, BAT Ideological Group launched BAT-HOME-CELL, a platform to combat hunger, insecurity, inadequate water supply, and farmer-herder conflicts while promoting communal solidarity.

The organization said its ultimate goal is to cultivate leaders who embody Tinubu’s political vision at all levels of governance, ensuring the continuity of the president’s progressive and uncommon political Spirit.
