Air Peace Restores Ibadan–Abuja Daily Flights
Air Peace Limited has confirmed that it will resume daily round-trip flights between Ibadan and Abuja following the reopening of the Ibadan Airport to commercial air traffic.
In a statement released by the airline, the renewed service is scheduled to commence on December 24, 2025, ending months of suspension caused by the airport’s earlier closure.
The airline explained that the move is part of a broader expansion plan that includes the revival of flight operations in Warri and the introduction of extra frequencies on several domestic routes.
These adjustments are aimed at meeting the surge in passenger demand during the festive season, while also positioning the carrier for sustained growth into 2026.
Air Peace noted that the return of the Ibadan route is supported by its expanding aircraft inventory, highlighted by the recent addition of a third Embraer 190 jet.
According to the airline, the new aircraft will improve operational efficiency, strengthen route deployment, and enhance service consistency across its local network.
Commenting on the development, the airline reiterated its commitment to improving air connectivity to previously underserved destinations, reducing travel challenges for passengers, and contributing to economic and social activities through reliable and efficient air transport services.
