APC Schedules National Caucus, NEC Meetings for December 15 and 16
The All Progressives Congress has fixed meetings of its National Caucus and National Executive Committee for Monday, 15 December 2025, and Tuesday, 16 December 2025, respectively.
Both sessions will hold at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The party disclosed the schedule in an official notice issued by its National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, and published on its website on Wednesday.
According to the announcement, the National Caucus will convene at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The caucus, recognised under Article 11 of the APC Constitution, brings together senior stakeholders across various strata of the party.
Expected attendees include the National Chairman; Deputy National Chairmen for the North and South; National Secretary; National Legal Adviser; National Treasurer; and other members of the party’s National Working Committee.
Also listed are the National Woman Leader, National Youth Leader, Leader of Persons Living with Disabilities, as well as past and serving Presidents and Vice Presidents who belong to the party.
Presidential and vice-presidential candidates, former and serving presiding officers of the Senate and House of Representatives, governors, state chairmen, former national officers, zonal chairmen and other designated representatives are also part of the caucus.
“All Members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to take notice of the meeting in line with Article 11.5 of the Constitution,” the notice stated.
The National Executive Committee will meet at 12:00 p.m. the following day, Tuesday, 16 December 2025. The NEC, provided for under Article 13.1 of the party’s Constitution, comprises a broader group of statutory members.
The committee includes the National Chairman; Deputy National Chairmen; National Secretary; Deputy National Secretary; National Legal Adviser and Deputy Legal Adviser; National Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer; National Organising Secretary and deputy; National Financial Secretary; National Publicity Secretary; National Auditor and Deputy Auditor; and Deputy Welfare Secretary.
Other members include the National Woman Leader, National Youth Leader, their deputies, state party chairmen, zonal representatives and elected members of the National Convention.
“All Members of the National Executive Committee are by this invitation to take notice of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.3 of the APC Constitution,” the party added.
