Eruku Community Rejoices as Abducted Worshippers Regain Freedom
Residents of Eruku community in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State erupted in joy on Sunday following confirmation that the victims abducted during the recent attack on the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) have been successfully rescued from their captors.
Local authorities and community leaders disclosed that the freed victims are now in safe custody, bringing an end to days of fear and anxiety that gripped the area after the armed attack.
The rescue has been widely celebrated, with families, residents, and church members expressing deep relief and gratitude.
Community members, while rejoicing over the positive development, also extended prayers for the safe return of other victims of recent abductions in the country particularly the Kebbi-24 and the abducted students in Niger State urging security agencies to sustain ongoing rescue efforts.
Leaders in the area called for strengthened security measures to prevent further incidents, warning that communities across the region remain vulnerable to criminal attacks.
