Anambra Police Heighten Security Around Schools, Churches to Curb Emerging Threats
The Anambra State Police Command has introduced heightened security measures across educational and religious institutions as part of efforts to forestall potential threats and maintain a safe atmosphere for learning and worship.
The directive was issued by the Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu, according to a statement released on Sunday by the Command’s spokesperson, Tochukwu Ikenga.
Ikenga explained that the new order mandates Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers, and various Tactical Units to step up their patrol activities and intensify intelligence-led operations.
