Niger State APC Flags Off Campaign for November 1 LG Elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Niger State officially flagged off its campaign for the upcoming local government council elections, scheduled for November 1, 2025.
The campaign launch took place in Minna, gathering key party leaders and stakeholders.
The campaign was flagged off by the state governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, who reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving the lives of citizens at both the state and local levels.
Governor Bago charged the people of Niger State to vote massively for APC in all 25 chairmanship and 274 councillorship positions.
While praying for peaceful and successful elections, he urged all party stakeholders and supporters to work diligently to ensure a resounding victory.
The Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly and Director-General of the APC State Campaign Council, Abdulmalik Sarkindaji, described the forthcoming polls as a litmus test of the party’s integrity, capacity, and popularity, expressing confidence in a clean sweep for all APC candidates.
Representing the APC National Chairman, the National Vice Chairman (North Central), Mu’azu Bawa Rijau, highlighted the party’s numerous achievements nationwide and urged the electorate to vote for the party to continue delivering on its change mantra.
Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, urged residents to reciprocate the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Bago by voting APC candidates to sustain democratic dividends.
State APC Chairman, Alhaji Aminu Musa Bobi, affirmed that the party is committed to abiding by all laid-down electoral guidelines and will accept the outcome of the elections, while encouraging the public to turn out in large numbers to vote for APC candidates.
