Ayodele Adewale Reflects on Key Resolutions from Lagos APC Stakeholders’ Forum

The Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Hon. Ayodele Adewale, has reflected on the key resolutions reached during the recently concluded Lagos APC Stakeholders’ Forum, emphasizing unity, accountability, and renewed grassroots engagement as the party’s top priorities.
Speaking after the forum, which brought together party leaders, elected officials, and members from across the 57 local government areas of the state, Adewale described the meeting as “a reaffirmation of the APC’s commitment to good governance and internal cohesion.”
He noted that the forum, convened under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos APC Chairman, Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, focused on strengthening party structures, improving member welfare, and consolidating support for ongoing developmental projects across the state.
“The Lagos APC remains the model for effective party organization in Nigeria,” Adewale said. “Our discussions centered on inclusiveness, transparency, and strategic planning ahead of future elections. We resolved to engage more with the people at the grassroots level and ensure that every member feels valued and represented.”
Adewale also commended the state government’s progress in infrastructure, education, and health, urging party members to remain united behind the Sanwo-Olu administration’s THEMES+ agenda a development blueprint aimed at making Lagos a smarter and more livable city.
According to him, one of the major outcomes of the forum was the agreement to enhance digital communication within the party to improve coordination and feedback from wards and local councils.
The stakeholders’ forum, held at the Lagos State Secretariat, Ikeja, also addressed issues of youth participation, gender inclusion, and membership revalidation, with leaders agreeing to strengthen the APC’s internal democratic processes and dispute resolution mechanisms.
Adewale concluded by calling on all members to remain disciplined and focused, noting that the unity of purpose displayed at the forum would ensure the party’s continued dominance in Lagos politics and beyond.
“Our strength lies in our collective vision and discipline,” he said. “Lagos will continue to set the pace for political stability and development in Nigeria.”
